Vocational university to be built near Kasur

Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan announced on Monday that a vocational university would be established in Khudian Khas in Kasur district.

Inaugurating a hospital in Khudian, he said Rs10 billion had been allocated for the educational project.

The speaker said latest vocational education would by offered in the university in science, technology and engineering.

He said people of the area would be provided modern medical facilities in the new hospital.

The speaker announced that a motorway would pass through the area soon, adding that steps had also been taken to establish a boys degree college.
