The Los Angeles Dodgers claim they denied entry to federal immigration agents who appeared at Dodger Stadium on Thursday amid growing tension over ICE raids in the city.
According to a statement posted on social media, the baseball team said: “ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots,” but were turned away. The post has drawn national attention as immigration protests escalate across Los Angeles.
This morning, ICE agents came to Dodger Stadium and requested permission to access the parking lots. They were denied entry to the grounds by the organization. Tonight’s game will be played as scheduled.

ICE quickly denied the Dodgers' claim, posting on X that “False. We were never there.” The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) later clarified that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) vehicles were briefly present in the parking lot but insisted it was unrelated to any enforcement operation.

This incident comes as the Dodgers are reportedly planning to announce new support for immigrants affected by recent federal raids. No official details have been released, but it would mark the team’s first public stance on the issue.
Dodgers player Kiké Hernández expressed his frustration on Instagram, calling the situation “saddening and infuriating,” and defending the immigrant community of Los Angeles as his “second home.”
The citywide crackdown is part of a broader Trump administration effort to increase arrests and deportations, which has included deploying thousands of National Guard troops and U.S. Marines to the area.
White House border czar Tom Homan confirmed on Thursday that worksite raids—including at farms and hotels—will resume immediately.
The Dodgers' response adds a high-profile voice to the growing chorus of opposition to the administration’s immigration enforcement tactics.
