Baker shot dead by motorcyclists

Unidentified motorcycle riders shot and killed a baker at his shop in Shahdara area on Thursday before fleeing the scene.

The victim was identified as Aziz Shah, who worked at a local bakery in the area. Police said unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on the baker while he was at his shop, killing him instantly.

Police reached the crime scene immediately after receiving reports of the incident. The body was shifted to a morgue for post-mortem examination with the assistance of Edhi volunteers.

Local authorities have launched an investigation into the murder. Police officials said they are examining all aspects of the case to determine the motive behind the killing.

Police have registered a case and begun collecting evidence from the crime scene. Investigators are also reviewing CCTV footage from nearby areas to identify the suspects.
