A newly released audio recording, presented as a defense exhibit by Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team, reveals singer Cassie allegedly threatening a man who claimed he had seen a video of her participating in a “freak-off.”
The recording, which surfaced as part of Diddy’s ongoing legal battle, was played for jurors during Cassie's testimony on May 16, but has only now been made public.
According to TMZ, the man identified as "Sugit" was confronted by Cassie in Atlantic City back in March 2014. In the recording, Cassie can be heard making multiple death threats, saying, “I'll kill you,” and insisting he show her the alleged video. She adds, “I’ve never killed anyone before, but I’ll kill you,” emphasizing that he was interfering with her life. At times, she warns that someone else could also harm him over the matter.
The emotional confrontation is now a central piece of Diddy's defense strategy, intended to question Cassie’s credibility as a witness in the broader legal saga involving abuse allegations. Cassie had previously filed a lawsuit against Diddy, which was settled in 2023.
This bombshell audio is the latest twist in the case, fueling further public speculation. Legal experts say the tape may complicate perceptions of Cassie’s testimony and could significantly influence proceedings if more evidence emerges.
The confrontation, which took place over a decade ago, is now drawing renewed attention in the court of law—and public opinion.
