CM Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government's resolve to eliminate child labour has become even stronger. The government has been actively continuing its school enrollment campaign to ensure that every child receives education.
The CM said this in his message on the World Day Against Child Labour.
Strict implementation of existing child labour laws is underway, and actions are being taken against violators. The CM emphasised that forcing children into labour is a serious crime, and the government has adopted a comprehensive strategy to prevent it.
CM Murad added that the govt has allocated a dedicated budget for the protection, education, and welfare of children.
He further stated that full implementation of International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions remains a top priority for the Sindh government.
Partnerships with social organisations and UNICEF are also being strengthened to combat child labour.
The CM mentioned that there has been a notable decrease in child labour in Sindh in the year 2025, but efforts will continue until it is completely eradicated.
