Cop suspected in double murder

An Elite Force constable has been identified as the prime suspect in a double murder case in Hadyara.

The two victims had been gunned down over a land dispute.

An investigation uncovered that the suspect, identified as Constable Ejaz, currently serving in the Elite Force, had opened fire on his opponents along with his brother, resulting in the deaths.

According to police sources, during the course of investigation, it was revealed that the suspect had used his government-issued weapon in the fatal shooting.

The incident stemmed from an ongoing land distribution dispute between the victims and the suspects.
