
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday said that collective schemes would be included in the budget for the financial year 2025-26 so that public welfare could be given priority.
Presiding over a consultative meeting of the parliamentary committee on the formulation of the budget for the next financial year 2025-26 at the Chief Minister's Secretariat, the CM said not only the provision of basic facilities to be ensured through the budget, but also full attention would be paid to development projects according to the priorities of the government.
The meeting was attended by parliamentary leaders and members of the government's coalition parties.
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that the available resources would be utilized for public interest projects so that new avenues of development could be opened in the province.
He expressed determination that 100 percent allocation of the proposed projects would be ensured so that financial resources could be used properly and the development needs of the people can be met.
Bugti stressed that the upcoming budget would be people friendly.
The members present in the meeting agreed on the formulation of the budget for the next financial year under the leadership of the Chief Minister and presented suggestions so that the public could be served better.
The meeting was attended by Nawabzada Mir Tariq Khan Magsi, Mir Shoaib Noshirwani, Mir Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Mir Saleem Ahmed Khosa, Mir Sadiq Imrani, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, Mir Abdul Majeed Badini, and Haji Ali Madad Jatak. APP
