ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court will resume hearing today (Wednesday) on the appeals filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) patron-in-chief Imran Khan and former first lady Bushra Bibi seeking suspension of their sentences in the £190 million reference.

The hearing will be conducted by Acting Chief Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Asif.

The court had earlier granted the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) time until today to appoint a special public prosecutor for the case, following NAB's request.

Both the PTI patron-in-chief and Bushra Bibi have requested the court to suspend their sentences and release them on bail.
