HARIPUR:

A fire broke out in the forest adjacent to the archaeological site of Jaulian as a result of tourists cooking in the jungle nearby.

The firefighter team of Khanpur Rescue 1122 managed to control the fire after two hours. According to sources, the people who cooked there left the fire burning in the forest which spread because of strong winds and caught onto the grass. If timely action had not been taken, the fire would have reduced the ancient cultural site to ashes. This site is considered a world cultural heritage.
