Promoter Richard Schaefer has confirmed that Amir Khan, the WBA and IBF light-welterweight world champion, will fight Lamont Peterson on December 10. The two camps have long been attempting to find an agreement suitable to all parties, and after several negotiations Schaefer has revealed that the bout is set, and will be held in one of three possible locations: Washington, Detroit or Montreal. Peterson has lost only once in 31 fights so far, with his sole defeat coming at the hands of Timothy Bradley.
