Bruno Fernandes rejects Al-Hilal, will continue at Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes has rejected a £700,000-a-week offer from Saudi club Al Hilal, choosing to stay in European football

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, choosing instead to continue playing football in Europe.

The Portuguese midfielder, 30, had reportedly been offered a weekly salary of around £700,000 by Al Hilal—an offer that would have netted him approximately £65 million per season, including bonuses and other incentives.

Despite the eye-watering proposal, Fernandes has decided against leaving Old Trafford for the Middle East.

Fabrizio Romano reported that the decision was rooted in Fernandes’ desire to remain competitive at the highest level in Europe.
