Premium vehicle licence plates to be auctioned online

The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), in collaboration with the excise and taxation department, has begun registration for auction of attractive vehicle registration numbers through the e-auction app and web portal.

Applicants may register until June 30 to bid for their preferred vehicle number, says a press release issued here on Monday.

The e-auction system facilitates the transparent auction of motorcycle and car number, allowing users to participate from home.

The details of successful bidders will be made available on the app.
