Kanye West regrets past comments about Jay-Z and Beyoncé's children
"All my dreams have been about apologizing to Jay Z", Kanye West expresses guilt over offensive tweets.

Kanye West has recently expressed regret over his controversial comments about Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s children, admitting that his guilt has been haunting him.
In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), West revealed that his dreams have been consumed by thoughts of apologizing to Jay-Z, signaling that the fallout from his previous remarks continues to affect him.

This admission follows a series of deeply offensive tweets West made earlier this year, in which he targeted the children of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, specifically their twins, Rumi and Sir. In March, West shared a tweet that used ableist language and referred to the children in a derogatory manner:
“Has anyone ever seen Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s younger kids? They’re rtarded,” he wrote. He added, “This is why artificial insemination is such a blessing. Having rtarded children is a choice.”
After deleting the tweet, West reposted it with a shocking explanation:
“NOT BECAUSE IM A GOOD PERSON.” He then followed it with another offensive statement:
“I TOOK THE POST ABOUT JAY Z AND BEYONCE’S FAMILY DOWN… BECAUSE THERE WAS A POSSIBILITY OF MY TWITTER BEING CANCELLED… I TOOK IT DOWN LIKE DOWN SYNDROME. GET IT. AM I RIGHT. F*** THE WORLD.”
The situation escalated further when West tweeted:
“AT LEAST JAY Z AND BEYONCÉ GET TO RAISE THEIR RETARDED ASS KIDS. AIN’T NO CELEBRITY EVER SAID NOTHING TO COME TO MY AID WHEN IT CAME TO THESE WHITE WOMEN TAKING MY KIDS… F*** JAY Z AND HIS WHOLE FAMILY.”
West's comments sparked immediate backlash, with Mathew Knowles, Beyoncé's father, calling the remarks "stupid" and urging West to seek help. Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, posted a message promoting light over “ignorance and evil,” although she did not name West directly.
In April, West issued a vague apology, tweeting:
“I’m sorry Jay Z,” and added, “I be feeling bad about my tweet but I still feel I gave my life to this industry and thought so many people were my family but when I needed family on some real s### none of these rap n##### had my back.”
Despite the controversial nature of his past comments, West's recent reflection signals a possible change in perspective. His deleted post from the weekend, in which he confessed to having dreams about apologizing to Jay-Z, suggests that the guilt over his words continues to weigh on him. Whether this signals an attempt to repair his relationship with Jay-Z remains to be seen, but the ongoing tension between the two continues to cast a shadow on their once-strong collaboration.
