RAWALPINDI:

A special anti-terrorism court judge, Amjad Ali Shah, has expressed strong dissatisfaction over the continuous absence of police witnesses in the long-pending 2012 Ashura incident case.

The judge ordered the confiscation of SSP Investigations Saba Sattar's salary and reissued her arrest warrants. The SSP had failed to appear in court on May 29 despite being summoned.

The court has now directed her to appear on June 2 and has also issued a contempt of court notice.
