CHISHTIAN:

A tragic shooting incident occurred in the suburban village of Chak 33 Fatah, Chishtian, where a dispute over a water connection escalated into deadly violence between two groups, resulting in the death of a father and his two sons from the same family.

Two others were seriously injured. According to initial reports, the altercation began as a verbal argument between Muhammad Amin and Muhammad Aslam over a water connection.

The situation quickly escalated, leading to an exchange of gunfire.

As a result, 55-year-old Muhammad Amin and his sons, 30-year-old Saeed and 28-year-old Waheed, were killed on the spot. Another son, Rashid, sustained critical injuries.

Muhammad Aslam, from the opposing side, was also seriously injured.

Rescue 1122 reached the scene and shifted all the deceased and injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.

Due to their critical condition, both injured men were later transferred to Bahawal Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur.

Upon receiving the report, Chishtian Circle DSP Akmal Basra and a large police contingent arrived at the scene, collected evidence and launched an investigation. Police said the primary motive behind the triple murder was the water connection dispute.
