Two injured in encounter

Two men were injured, allegedly by their accomplices, during an encounter with the police on Thursday.

A team of the Crime Control Department (CCD) was patrolling the Bahawalpur Road when they spotted three suspects on two motorcycles. The officials signaled the suspects to stop but they opened fire.

Two of the suspects were injured in the exchange of fire, who were identified as Amir Hamza and Shahbaz. The police seized a pistol and a motorbike from the scene. Rescue teams shifted the injured to a nearby hospital, while the third suspect fled.
