ISLAMABAD: On the sixth day of his hunger strike against corruption, the medical condition of Jahangir Akhtar deteriorated, as he now has low blood pressure, low blood sugar and low urine output. These conditions suggest that his condition is deteriorating and he requires medical intervention, which is being resisted by Akhtar. However, he continued his strike on Saturday and was in good spirits. Akhtar was visited by former Supreme Court Bar Association president Aitzaz Ahsan, who expressed his solidarity to Akhtar.
