The mother, Nighat Yasmin, a resident of Shahzad Town, had earlier filed a petition with the court alleging that her husband kidnapped their son from her mother’s house in April this year.
The mother also contended that all efforts by her family to secure the child’s return were futile as the boy’s father did not pay heed to any of their requests.
She said that her family had tried their best to negotiate terms with the father, Haider, who has illegal custody of the child.
