Saved At Last: Four rescued from Khairpur

Relatives of kidnapped men said they paid ransom to the kidnappers for their release, though Police fought kidnappers.

SUKKUR: The Khairpur police have managed to save four hostages, Suneel Kumar, Mahesh Kumar, Mohammad Hanif Manganhar and Mohammad Ali Manganhar.

They are all residents of Pannu Aquil and were kidnapped 15 days ago from near Pir Jo Goth. The police had an encounter with the kidnappers in the kachcha area of Kaloo Ji Dhandh, in the limits of Phuloo police station. The relatives of the men said that they also paid ransom to the kidnappers for their release.
