Robberies: 2 injured on resisting robbers
Two people were shot and injured by robbers for offering resistance in separate incidents on Saturday.

Two people were shot and injured by robbers for offering resistance in separate incidents on Saturday. According to police officials, three unknown armed robbers stormed into the house of Qaisar Mehmood and held his family hostage at gunpoint and began looting. They stole gold ornaments, cash and other valuables but when the accused were escaping, some women raised alarm. A passerby Ahmed Jamil caught a fleeing robber but the other robbers opened fire injuring him. Meanwhile, armed robbers stole a car in Pagganwal Head by holding Khurram Shehzad at gunpoint. Both injured men were shifted to Govt Allama Iqbal Memorial DHQ Hospital Sialkot where they are reportedly in critical condition.
