Dengue facility inaugurated at LDA office

A Dengue Diagnostic and Treatment Centre was inaugurated at the Lahore Development Authority’s Township office.

A Dengue Diagnostic and Treatment Centre was inaugurated at the Lahore Development Authority’s Township office on Saturday.



LDA’s senior medical officer Dr Nisar Ahmad said the facility will provide free-of-charge blood tests. He said besides paramedical staff two laboratory technicians, two assistants and two nurses ahd been hired for the centre. He said a five-bed facility treatment had been set up at a cost of Rs2 million.

Meanwhile, housing schemes inspected by LDA teams so far for fumigation include Revenue Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme, Military Accounts Cooperative Housing, Passco Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme, Punjab Government Employees Housing Scheme Phase-I and Phase-II, Judicial Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme Phase-I Extension, Phase-II, and Phase-III, Tariq Gardens, Tricon Village, Eden Villas, Model Town Extension and Class IV Employees Housing.
