QUETTA:

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that he foresees the end of Balochistan insurgency similar to Kurdish separatist movement.

He urged the disgruntled Baloch youth to shun the path of violence and become a part of mainstream.

"Just as the Kurdish separatist movement came to an end, I can also foresee a similar end to such the so-called movement in Balochistan. The people of Balochistan have decided that they will not allow any ideology to be imposed by force," the Balochistan CM said while speaking at a public gathering in Quetta on Wednesday.

CM Bugti praised the bravery and professionalism of the Pakistan armed forces, stating that their courageous actions had once again made history by defeating Indian aggression. Speaking to provincial ministers, lawmakers, tribal elders, and citizens, the chief minister said that the Indian government underestimated Pakistan's strength, but the armed forces proved otherwise with their bold and calculated response.

Balochistan has always played a key role in the defense of the country and continues to stand as a stronghold of patriotism, said Bugti.

He noted that the show of unity and resilience sent a clear message that the people of Balochistan would never allow any anti-state narrative to take root.

The chief minister asserted that recent developments, such as the peaceful end of separatist movements in other regions, indicate that people are rejecting the politics of division and violence.

He urged disgruntled individuals to abandon violence and join the national mainstream under the Constitution.

Bugti also condemned a recent attack on a political rally in Quetta, which resulted in the death of a party worker. He promised that the government would not only pursue justice for the victim but also support the bereaved family.

Concluding his speech, he reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of Balochistan's people to remain united with Pakistan and resist any attempt to destabilize the country.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti paid rich tribute to Pakistani forces for breaking the enemy's arrogance that has once again created history of victory. He said that the Modi government was thinking that Pakistan was weak, but the Pakistani forces proved through their actions that they could trample the enemy's arrogant thinking.

The chief minister said,"We have gathered to pay tribute to our forces and leadership and we send a message that Balochistan is the forefront of Pakistan, from where the voice of Pakistan has always been raised and would continue to be raised in the future." (with input from app)
