Kanye West reignited controversy this week by criticising Kendrick Lamar over Taylor Swift dancing to his track "Not Like Us" during the 2025 Grammy Awards.
In a recent post on X, West questioned how Swift’s dance aligns with hip-hop culture, suggesting Lamar may have been uncomfortable with the moment.
"I know that Kendrick did not like Taylor Swift dancing to the A minor line. How is that 'culture?'" West posted.

The remarks triggered widespread reaction online, with users expressing frustration over West’s continued focus on past events. One commenter wrote, “Why still talking about the Grammys and why worry about if Taylor Swift was dancing? Old news get over it.”
The post marks the latest in a series of public critiques from West, who previously said in March, "I HAAAAAATED Not Like Us," signalling his disapproval of the song’s popularity and message. Lamar, who has not publicly responded, collaborated with Swift in 2015 on a remix of her hit "Bad Blood."
This comes as West also faces backlash for releasing a video for his song "Heil Hitler," which has sparked criticism across music platforms. The track includes highly controversial lyrics and has been pulled from Spotify, SoundCloud and other streaming services.
