
Addressing the "Bunyan-un-Marsoos Conference" held under the Defence of Pakistan Council at Bagh-e-Jinnah, top religious scholars and political leaders paid tribute to Pakistan's armed forces for a historic military victory over Indian aggression.
Thousands attended the emotionally charged gathering, waving national flags and chanting slogans in support of the military.
Prominent speakers included Sheikh-ul-Islam Mufti Taqi Usmani, Mufti Azam Pakistan Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Jamia Binoria head Mufti Nauman Naeem, Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) Secretary General Maulana Aurangzeb Farooqi, JUI-F Sindh General Secretary Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro, prominent religious scholars Maulana Manzoor Mengal, Mufti Tariq Masood, and several others from various religious and political backgrounds.
Director of Jamia-tul-Dirasat-ul-Islamia Mufti Yusuf Kashmiri, Leader of Milli Yakjehti Council Sindh Hafiz Muhammad Anwar, Chief Organizer of Jamaat-e-Ghurba Ahl-e-Hadith Mufti Anas Madani, Sheikh-ul-Hadith of Jamia-tur-Rasheed Mufti Muhammad, Leader of Tanzeem Ahle Sunnat Mufti Rafi-ur-Rahman, Allama Liaquat Hussain Azhari, Leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Sami) Mufti Hammadullah Madani, Leader of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Muzammil Siddiqui, and others addressed the gathering.
They unanimously praised the military's Bunyan-un-Marsoos and described it as a decisive response to India's Operation Sindoor.
Mufti Taqi Usmani said the nation has gathered near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam to thank Allah for a monumental victory.
He emphasised that the win came not just through military strength, but through trust in God, and urged the nation to remain humble and grateful. He called for unity against corruption and sectarian divides, pledging continued support for Pakistan's armed forces.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman warned that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's extremist policies have endangered regional peace. He urged Indian citizens to reject hatred and pursue peaceful coexistence. "If India fails to rid itself of Modi, its destruction is inevitable," he said.
