BD to reach Pak on May 21 for T20I series

BCB has not raised any objections or concerns for the tour

The Bangladesh cricket team's tour of Pakistan for a five-match T20I series is confirmed to go ahead as planned later this month, putting to rest recent rumors about possible delays or cancellations. According to recent reports, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has not raised any objections or concerns, and officials from both cricket boards are in regular contact.

The series will be played across two cities, with the first two T20Is scheduled to be held at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. The opening match is set for May 25, followed by the second game on May 27. The final three matches will take place at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on May 30, June 1, and June 3. All matches will start at 8 PM local time.

The Bangladesh squad will arrive in Pakistan on May 21, after wrapping up a T20I series in the United Arab Emirates. Before heading to Pakistan, Bangladesh will play two T20Is against the UAE in Sharjah on May 17 and 19 as part of their preparations.

Litton Das has been named captain for both tours, taking over the T20I leadership after Najmul Hossain Shanto stepped down earlier this year. Off-spinner Mahedi Hasan will serve as the vice-captain.

Pakistan has a strong record against Bangladesh in T20Is, having won 16 out of the 19 matches played between the two teams. Bangladesh has only managed three victories so far.
