JUI-F to observe 'Difa-e-Watan' Day

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl has announced that it will observe 'Difa-e-Watan' (Defence of the Nation) Day on Friday (today).

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has appealed to Ulema to condemn Indian aggression in their Friday sermons and express resolve to render any sacrifice for the defence of the country.

According to party leader Maulana Amjad Khan, the JUI-F chief said that the entire nation stands united behind the armed forces in the country's defence.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said, "It is both our right and duty to defend Pakistan, and the nation is fully aware of how to fulfill this responsibility."
