Bomb hoax spreads panic

 A bomb threat at the Bakshi Khana (a temporary jail within the Judicial Complex where accused are brought from Adiala Jail for court appearances) caused panic among police personnel.

Rescue teams and the bomb disposal squad were immediately dispatched to the scene. After a thorough search, the Bakshi Khana was declared completely clear, and the phone call was found to be a false alarm.

Security at the Judicial Complex and District Courts has been further tightened after the incident. A heavy contingent of armed police has been deployed, and strict checking and monitoring of citizens entering the Judicial Complex and courts has begun.
