Stray bullets injure 52
in 34 days
Lawlessness in the city is escalating, with 52 citizens injured in 34 days by stray bullets from unknown directions, allegedly due to police inaction and the unchecked spread of illegal weapons. Despite official claims of investigations, no tangible progress has been made, fuelling public fear and frustration. Districts West and Central are the worst affected. Even homes are no longer safe, and random shootings have become routine. The CTD's efforts to curb illegal arms have failed, and the government remains silent. Experts warn the violence will persist unless weapon supply is strictly controlled and police accountability is enforced.
