Three terrorists killed in Turbat

Security forces on Tuesday neutralised three terrorists during an IBO carried out in the Turbat area of Balochistan's Kech district.

A statement issued by the ISPR said the IBO was conducted on the reported presence of terrorists. "Own troops effectively engaged the terrorist location and after an intense exchange of fire, three terrorists were successfully neutralised," it said.

According to the ISPR, weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists.

"[These terrorists] were involved in multiple terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies as well as the innocent civilians in the area." It said the forces later launched sanitisation operations to neutralise any other terrorists present in the area. "Security forces of Pakistan remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan," it added.
