
Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Hyder Shah has directed to establish heatwave relief camps and initiate comprehensive precautionary measures to protect citizens from the effects of extreme weather.
Following reports of soaring temperatures - with Shaheed Benazirabad recording 47 degrees Celsius, Jacobabad 46 degrees Celsius, Hyderabad 43 degrees Celsius, Karachi 35 degrees Celsius, and several other districts also experiencing intense heat conditions - the provincial administration has decided to implement emergency responses.
