Khloé Kardashian’s real vs. heavily retouched photo causes buzz after BTS photo leaks

When does editing cross the line from enhancing to deceiving?

Khloé Kardashian is once again in the spotlight as fans of The Kardashians notice a striking difference between a behind-the-scenes shot and the final retouched image used for promotional purposes.

The season 6 finale of the show, which aired on April 10, featured Khloé travelling to London for various photoshoots, including one for the cover art of her podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.

After the episode aired, a fan on Reddit shared their observations, pointing out the noticeable differences between the candid shoot footage and the final polished image.

The Reddit post read: "Khloé is beautiful but she doesn’t look like this at all. It breaks my heart for her, because she doesn’t need to do all this editing."

This comment has since sparked a debate online about beauty standards and the pressure on celebrities to appear flawless.

It’s important to note that The Kardashians has already faced accusations of using filters in every shot, so the "before" image might not have been entirely unedited either.

Khloé has previously spoken about her use of photo editing, expressing her love for a "good filter, good lighting, and an edit here and there" in a candid admission about the way she presents herself online.
