KARACHI:

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday urged peaceful protests over the canal issue, rather than agitation that causes problems for the common people.

Sharjeel Memon has stated that political parties have the constitutional right to peaceful protest over the canal issue. In a statement, Memon emphasised that protests, rallies, and demonstrations should be held in open grounds or designated areas after informing the government, ensuring minimal disruption to public life.

Memon highlighted that while dissent and protest are essential components of democracy, they should not cause inconvenience to the public.
