Drug trafficker' held, partner flees

The Special Investigation Unit of the police arrested Ali Khan Nawab, an accused involved in inter-provincial drug supply, near P&T Flats, Sunset Boulevard Road, Gizri, recovering 520 grams of ice from his possession. Meanwhile, Shah Fahad, Nawab's accomplice, fled the scene. The value of the recovered drugs is Rs500,000.

SSP Shoaib Memon revealed that during interrogation, Nawab claimed that the absconding accused, Shah Fahad, is the ringleader of the business, for whom Nawab has been running the Karachi network for about 6-7 years.

Further, the arrested accused revealed that Fahad also had 12 eggs of cocaine worth about Rs4.5 million. Shah Fahad is allegedly running the largest inter-provincial network for the supply of cocaine and ice.
