Drug Dealing: Self confessed criminal jailed for 11 months

The judge also fined him with Rs10,000 and a 15-day extended imprisonment in case of non-payment.

An Additional District and Sessions judge on Friday awarded 11 months imprisonment to a drug dealer after he confessed the crime.

The judge also fined him with Rs10,000 and a 15-day extended imprisonment in case of non-payment. Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain Chaudhry awarded the imprisonment to Muhammad Manzoor after he confessed the crime in the court.


He told the court that he started drug dealing due to poverty and unemployment. The Nishtar Colony police had arrested Manzoor in August and had confiscated three kilogramme hashish from him.
