As part of the Baisakhi festival celebrations, a group of Indian Sikh pilgrims has arrived at the historic Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hassan Abdal. The first group consists of a total of 1,445 pilgrims who have come to Pakistan to perform their religious rituals.

Attock District Police Officer (DPO) and Hassan Abdal Assistant Commissioner, Arif Qureshi, warmly welcomed the pilgrims upon their arrival. The district administration ensured foolproof security arrangements to guarantee the safety and comfort of the visitors.

On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs, Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora, also visited Gurdwara Panja Sahib. He toured the premises and reviewed the arrangements made for the foreign guests.

Speaking to the media, he said, "The Government of Pakistan is fully committed to protecting the rights and religious freedoms of minorities. The arrangements made for the Indian pilgrims reflect our dedication to promoting interfaith harmony and brotherhood. We welcome pilgrims from around the world to visit Pakistan and perform their religious rituals in peace and freedom."

The Baisakhi festival is not only a significant religious occasion for the Sikh community but also a symbol of interfaith harmony and cultural openness in Pakistan.
