Rangers’ operation: Dozens rounded up in raid at Mowach Goth
Searched every house in the area and rounded up dozens of suspects.
KARACHI:
The Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, added a few dozen more suspects to the 80 it already had in custody after sweeping through Mowach Goth on Friday.
They searched every house in the area and rounded up dozens of suspects, however, the Rangers headquarters at the Jinnah Courts did not release details of the operation like they usually do. A Rangers official said that an overall roundup would be given to the media by Tuesday.
Last week, the law enforcement authority found a cache of 77 weapons during an operation in Lyari’s Singhu Lane. Other weapons were found in Sohrab Goth’s al Asif square, Baldia Town, Shah Faisal Town’s Kehkashan Society, Orangi Town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Town’s Super Highway area, Machar Colony, Qasba Colony’s Muslimabad and Soldier Bazaar.
