Freedom At Last: Rescued kestrels set free

Fourteen kestrels, out of the 20 found on Wednesday by the wildlife department on the National Highway.

Fourteen kestrels, out of the 20 found on Wednesday by the wildlife department on the National Highway, were set free in a deserted area near Sukkur Bypass. They had been captured by a smuggler who was arrested. According to the deputy conservator, Taj Mohammad Sheikh, three kestrels escaped and three died of heat. The smuggler, Shahid, was fined  Rs10,000.
