National Power: Deadline for EoI extended
Investors interested in joining the process are requested to submit an EOI by the extended date.
ISLAMABAD:
The Privatisation Commission (PC) has extended, on the request of prospective investors for extension in dates for submission, the deadline of Expression of Interest (EOI) and Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) for National Power Construction Corporation (NPCC).According to a press statement on Friday, the PC has extended the deadline for submission of EOI no later than 1700 hours on October 1. The deadline for submission of Statement of Qualification (SOQ) to the PC has been extended to no later than 1700 hours on October 15, 2011. Investors interested in joining the process are requested to submit an EOI by the extended date. The PC had invited EOI from prospective investors with demonstrable ability to acquire and efficiently manage the NPCC through the acquisition of minimum 88% shareholding. The successful bidder will be required to continue to operate the company as a going concern.
