Lahore to be ECO tourism capital

The capital of Punjab has been nominated as the Economic Cooperation Organisation's (ECO) tourism capital for the year 2027.

A 25-member delegation of the 10-nation ECO will begin a visit to Lahore on April 13 to formally announce the nomination.

The delegation from the ECO countries will visit historical sites, including the Walled City, and the Punjab Safe Cities Authority headquarters.
