
The sea breeze has completely been restored, and the mercury in the city is likely to remain between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius for the next three days, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) spokesperson Anjum Nazir Zeigham said on Tuesday.
The city remained hot and humid but off the highs witnessed in the past few days.
According to PMD the maximum temperature was 34.2 degrees while the humidity was 48 per cent. As per PMD heatwave alert, central and southern Sindh districts are likely to witness day-time temperatures about five to seven degrees higher than average April temperatures.
Highest temperature of the day, 47 degrees Celsius, was recorded in Nawabshah due to the current heatwave. Larkana, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad and Jamshoro districts may remain in the grip of intense heat on Wednesday (today).
Light rain is possible in Jamshoro, Dadu and Nawabshah.
