The Rawat police have arrested a man for making a fraudulent call to the Emergency Helpline 15, falsely reporting that his car had been stolen.
According to the police spokesperson, the accused, identified as Tanveer, had called the emergency number in February of this year, claiming that his car had been stolen.
Upon receiving the distress call, the police responded and rushed to the scene. However, after a thorough investigation, it was discovered that no theft had actually taken place.
