Warren Buffett has once again defied the odds — and the market trends. In 2025, his net worth surged by an impressive $12 billion, bringing his total fortune to $155 billion.

This remarkable increase makes him the only billionaire among Forbes’ list of the world’s top ten richest individuals to see a gain this year.

The 94-year-old CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, often referred to as the “Oracle of Omaha,” now holds the sixth spot globally.

His wealth boost can largely be credited to a 3% rise in Berkshire Hathaway’s shares over the past month, even as broader markets and tech stocks faced turbulent times.

Meanwhile, some of the most notable tech moguls — including Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg — witnessed significant drops in their fortunes.

Unlike many of his peers, Buffett's investment philosophy rooted in value and long-term growth appears to have shielded him from the volatility that shook much of the tech sector this year.

Despite his immense fortune, Buffett remains committed to philanthropy.

He has famously pledged to give away over 99% of his wealth and has already donated a staggering $62 billion to charitable causes over his lifetime — a testament to his belief that wealth should ultimately serve the greater good.

At nearly a century old, Buffett’s steady hand and unwavering principles continue to set him apart in a rapidly changing financial world.
