'Power tariff cut to relieve public'

Minister of State for Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday for fulfilling his promise to the people, emphasizing that the reduction in electricity prices reflected the government's dedication to providing relief to the public.

Speaking at a public gathering in Dina, Kayani said that the decrease in electricity rates would benefit all segments of society, including households, farmers and industries.

He further indicated that additional tariff cuts were expected in the coming months.

These reductions, according to him, were part of a long-term strategy.
