New footage of Mo3's fatal shooting surfaces after Yella Beezy’s capital murder arrest

Graphic video emerges amid Yella Beezy’s $750K bond reduction in Mo3’s 2020 highway murder case.

Newly surfaced footage of Mo3's tragic 2020 highway shooting has left fans heartbroken as it arrives in the wake of rapper Yella Beezy being charged with capital murder in connection to the killing.

The disturbing video, which will not be included due to its graphic nature, shows Mo3 stopping his car on I-35 in Dallas, getting out and opening the passenger side door. As he leaned inside the vehicle, a man wearing a ski mask approached from a nearby car and opened fire. Mo3 was struck multiple times in the back as he attempted to flee. The 28-year-old rapper died from his injuries.

Fans reacted with shock and sorrow across social media. "R.I.P. Mo3 Gone too soon," one Instagram user wrote under The Neighborhood Talk's post. "It’s never that serious to take somebody life," another added.

The release of the footage comes just days after Yella Beezy was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with the fatal shooting. Authorities allege that the Dallas rapper hired Kewon Dontrell White to carry out the hit.

Initially, Beezy's bond was set at $2 million. During a court appearance, his defense argued that the artist could not afford such a high amount. His grandmother, Alma Jean Alexander, testified, "He might used to be," when asked if her grandson was still substantially wealthy. "But if he could make a $2 million bond, he’d be out."

As a result, the judge reduced the bond to $750,000. However, Judge Gracie Lewis made it clear that Beezy is to have zero contact with witnesses or victims. "You are to have no contact, direct or indirect, no threatening or harassment of any victims or witnesses," she said. "If it's you or anybody on your behalf, there's going to be a problem. Do you understand that?"

Judge Lewis also criticized the rapper’s courtroom demeanor, implying he wasn’t taking the case seriously.

The case continues to unfold as Mo3’s supporters mourn a voice lost too soon.
