Taylor Swift tipped to feature on Barcelona shirt for El Clásico against Real Madrid
Taylor Swift is the leading candidate to appear on Barcelona’s shirt for their La Liga clash against Real Madrid on 10 or 11 May, according to RAC 1.
The potential move is part of the club’s ongoing partnership with Spotify, which has seen various artists’ names replace the streaming platform’s logo on Barça’s kit since the 2022–23 season.
While the agreement is not yet finalised, negotiations are reportedly in the final stages. Mundo Deportivo previously reported that Ed Sheeran was also under consideration, while RAC 1 has mentioned rapper Travis Scott as another option.
If confirmed, Swift will join a list of global artists who have featured on Barcelona’s kit under the Spotify deal, following Drake, Rosalía, The Rolling Stones, Karol G, and Coldplay.
The American singer-songwriter’s presence would hold added significance, coming nearly a year after she performed at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu on 30 May 2024.
Swift, 35, is also closely linked to the sporting world due to her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce.
Given her global fanbase, her appearance on Barcelona’s shirt would generate widespread attention in one of football’s most-watched fixtures.
