Quack, accomplices attack health team

A quack and his accomplices launched a attack on a health department team that arrived at his clinic in Chhota Anasi, Street No. 2, for an inspection.

The team, led by Dr Rizwan Ramzan, in charge of Jinnah Town Health Department, was met with violence, resulting in injuries to Dr Rizwan, including a fractured finger.

As per the case registered by Dr Ramzan, Naseer called in 15 accomplices, armed with sticks and bricks, who attacked the team when they arrived to check the clinic. The accused vandalized the official vehicle smashing its windows, and snatched Rs90,000 in cash, mobile phones, and other documents from the staff.

The accused, including Javed alias Jedi and 15 others, threatened to kill the staff and managed to escape.

However, the Raza Abad police have registered a case against them under various sections of the law based on medical evidence. Raids are currently underway to arrest the influential suspects.

Meanwhile, the Gulberg and Saddar police have arrested two accused involved in serious cases including murder, robbery, attempted murder and police encounter and started investigation.

SHO Saddar Faisalabad, Sub-Inspector Ali Ikram Goraiya along with his team raided various places and arrested Ghulam Dastagir Naseer and others involved in the cases.
