Fawad calls for national govt to tackle crisis

Fawad stated that Pakistan has suffered irreparable losses.

LAHORE:

Former federal minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has called upon President Asif Ali Zardari, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to engage with the establishment to form a national government as a way forward to steer Pakistan out of its ongoing crisis.

Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), Fawad stated that Pakistan has suffered irreparable losses, leaving no choice but to unite for the country's progress.

He criticized the political atmosphere, saying that if a party securing 70% of the votes is being labelled as a terrorist organisation, then the entire nation is being branded as terrorists.

"If PTI and I are terrorists, what else is left but to mourn this logic?" he remarked.
