PTI govt launches 'E-Mazdoor Card'

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by K-P Minister for Labour, at his office in the Civil Secretariat

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Labour Department has decided to introduce the E-Mazdoor Card for workers employed in various industries across the province.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize labour welfare and streamline service records.

The decision was made during a meeting chaired by K-P Minister for Labour, Fazal Shakoor Khan, at his office in the Civil Secretariat, Peshawar.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Labour Mian Adil Iqbal, Vice Commissioner of the Employees' Social Security Institution (ESSI), and other concerned officials.

During the meeting, the provincial minister was given a detailed briefing on the E-Mazdoor Card.

It was revealed in the briefing that the card will provide a comprehensive record of a worker's employment history, including entry into service, tenure at various factories, and other essential details.
