Five men were arrested in Downtown Memphis on Monday after they allegedly exited a car and began twerking in the middle of a busy intersection.

Memphis police observed a 2016 Chevy Malibu at a green light, with four men twerking around the car while one danced on the hood. Authorities quickly responded to the scene and took the five men into custody.

The individuals arrested were:

  • MeKell Sanders (18)
  • Rashaun Bryant (22)
  • Jordan Smith (19)

Each man was charged with obstructing a highway or passageway.

An affidavit obtained by WREG revealed that the men were taken to jail to prevent the incident from reoccurring.
