Suicides by three young men shock Badin

The incidents were reportedly linked to domestic disputes, unemployment, and poverty.

BADIN:

Three young men took their own lives in separate incidents in rural areas surrounding the city of Badin. The incidents were reportedly linked to domestic disputes, unemployment, and poverty.

In one incident, near the District Jail Badin on Tando Bago road in the village of Jalal, a young man named Imran Shah shot himself with a pistol.

In another incident, in the village of Goth Iqbal Sarejo on Hyderabad Road, a 44-year-old man named Lakhan Meghwar hanged himself from a tree using a rope. The third incident occurred in the village of Goth Moosa Poto on Seerani Road, where a young man named Fayyaz Ali took his own life due to domestic disputes. The police transferred the bodies to Indus Hospital for necessary legal formalities, before handing over the bodies to the families.

Arrests in Sachal case

The Mithadar police station has arrested two suspects involved in the murder of a citizen named Farhan Qasim during a robbery in Sachal area. The suspects, identified as Kaleem and Nizamuddin, were caught with two pistols on Friday. The incident occurred on 27 January when the suspects followed victim. They shot and killed Farhan after he withdrew Rs0.9m from a bank. CCTV footage from the scene captured the murder. APP
